Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor who was born on January 31, 1974. She is best known as Bo on the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk was produced in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk were the grandparents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director and teaches drama on the drama department at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna has some of her earliest memories of watching television and attending rehearsals for performances. Silk appeared as a little actress in commercials. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Arts at St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two plays in the early days: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto and moved to Los Angeles within the decade following 1999. Seth Cooperman was her future spouse when she first began to meet him in 2007 during an acting workshop at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. After getting engaged in 2008, they got married in 2009. In April of 2011, they renewed their vows in an Jewish wedding ceremony held in Fredericton after she converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman's son was born in May 2013, a son called Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron, Silk's second son was born in May 2016. Silk was also nominated 2009 for Gemini Awards in her role in the role of Cassidy Holland. She was given the role of Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian television series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk revealed to fans the joyous information that she was pregnant on the set of Season 3. The show was a pre-show exclusive to promote Season Three. This was presented by Showcase in the special Season Three show held January 6, 2013, prior to the show's premiere. Silk tweeted on June 20th, 2013 that the show would return for a fourth season of production. Fourth season debuted on June 4, 2013 with Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN Cable News Network named Bo as well as Lauren Zoie Palmer, as the couples with identical sexuality on Lost Girl to be one of its favorite TV Couples ever. E! Magazine declared the couple as one of the Top Television Couples in 2013 Entertainment Television. Because of Silk's popularity Silk has garnered a prominent internet following via social media.
